Holiday Concert
Stars: A Holiday Celebration
Like the twinkling stars that light up a dark December sky, the BGMC’s annual holiday concerts glow with the joyous spirit of the holiday season. 150 voices united in spine tingling harmony will sing beloved carols and favorite holiday songs, join with a soulful gospel soloist, and pull off hilarious antics as only the Chorus can do it. Santa Claus is comin’ to town and his sleigh is powered by eight fabulous reindeer! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so don your favorite gay apparel and join your family and friends for Boston’s most inclusive holiday tradition!

Spring Concert
Outside the Box
This is not your father's choral concert. The BGMC's spring concert thinks "outside the box," featuring music by some of the greatest GLBT songwriters of yesterday and today. The Chorus pays tribute to innovators from the mid 20th century including radical theater composer Marc Blitzstein and jazz great Billy Strayhorn (Take the A Train, Lush Life). Music of our time includes pop songs by openly gay singer/songwriters including Melissa Etheridge (Come to My Window), kd lang (Big Boned Gal), and Rufus Wainwright. Wainwright - one of the most original pop stars of today - is represented by three of his hits: Oh What A World, Vibrate and Beautiful Child. The Chorus also offers acclaimed composer Ricky Ian Gordon's Love, My Sweet Rain with the impressive young soprano and Point Foundation scholar Ceceilia Allwein as soloist. A politically incorrect – and hysterical – finale is inspired by the bad boys of Broadway, Mel Brooks and Monty Python. Provocative and entertaining, Outside the Box bridges classical, music theater and pop styles with uncommon imagination.
Please note this concert includes adult humor.

Boys Just Wanna Have Fun: Totally 80s
The 80s. The decade of MTV, Dallas and Dynasty. The Moral Majority and ACT UP. Cabbage Patch Kids and Pac-Man. And the music: Madonna. Prince. Boy George. George Michael. Cyndi Lauper. The Village People. Pet Shop Boys. The BGMC’s annual Pride Week concerts will be a totally awesome, totally tubular trip back to the future where boys – and girls – just wanna have fun! We’ll sing iconic songs of the decade, revisit classic TV show themes, and relive movies like Fame, Making Love, and Flashdance.
