Eos
Eos features the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus with full orchestra in the premiere of David Conte’s landmark choral symphony, Eos, in addition to Aaron Copland’s Old American Songs and Eric Helmuth’s The Mystic Trumpeter.
Eos is a reflection on who and where we are as a people, a vision of our future. It is filled with hope, dreams, ideals, and the joy of simply being gay. It also addresses the devastating consequences of hate. Ultimately, it evokes the strength of our legacy and the universal power of love.
