The trip will further the group’s mission to create musical experiences to inspire change, build community, and celebrate difference, and it will be the third international tour by the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus.

In 2015, the Chorus traveled to Israel and Turkey, becoming the first gay chorus to perform in the Middle East. Its performance tour of Eastern Europe in 2005 drew packed audiences as well as protests, and made headlines around the world.

We are raising money in advance of the tour to offset its production costs, which will enable us to make larger contributions to the Kliptown Youth Programj, GALA – Memory in Action’s “YOUth” intiative, PASSOP’s LGBT refugee outreach program, and the HIV/AIDS program of Triangle Project Health & Human Services.
