Jacob Narverud is an American Composer and Arranger. A native Kansan, Jake is the Founding Artistic Director of the Tallgrass Chamber Choir, a professional ensemble of musicians from across the Great Plains. A sought-after composer, Jake has been commissioned to write new choral works for over sixty organizations nationwide, as well as ensembles in Australia, Canada, and Japan. Many of his titles are international best-sellers and are performed worldwide by choirs of all levels. Jake serves as the Editor of Santa Barbara Music Publishing, Inc. and is a Signature Artist at Musicnotes, Inc. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and holds degrees from Emporia State University (BM, Vocal Performance) and the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (MM, Conducting & DMA, Conducting).
